Hard to enter US!

Today I canceled the appointment I had at the US Embassy for Monday because I realized I need a lot of proof about why I am asking for a visa. Just saying: “because I lived in US for 8 years and I want to travel there whenever I feel like it” won’t do! They sent me a very large questionaire about why I want a US visa and there is no way I can answer properly to all those questions right now. So, I guess now I will have to ask for some invitation letters from US, collect all the “proof” and build a good “case”…
