After discovering the oil pastels, I started using oils and I loved them! I love the feel and the smell of oils, the buttery consistency, the shine. Unfortunately, the oil takes too much to dry and it’s also quite unsuitable for using when painting where you live, so lately I have been using acrylics. The heavy body ones are quite nice and dry very fast. My painting style seems to be changing and I do believe it has a lot to do with the nature of acrylics.
